All Junior Aged riders Eligible to compete for
the NW LAJORS Team Stage Racing title.
Points will be based on finish position within
class racing.
Riders obtain points inversely proportional to
the starting field size, plus bonuses for first,
second and third place (6, 3, and 1 point
respectively).
For example, if the starting field were 8,
points would be as follows:
1st: 8+6 = 14 points
2nd: 7+3 = 10 points
3rd: 6+1 = 7 points
4th: 5 points
5th: 4 points
6th: 3 points
7th: 2 points
8th: 1 point
The team competition will be based on the 2
best-placed finishers on a team in each
category. With best 3 of 5 races counting
towards Series total.
A team gets credit for all points scored by
Junior riders in that team’s jersey. Riders
and teams should take care that riders
register for each race under the team’s
name and that the team gets credit in the
standings for all of its scoring Junior riders.
If a rider changes club/team mid-season, the
rider’s points earned with his or her old
club/team remain with the old club/team. Any
points earned with the new club/team will
be counted toward the new club/team’s
points
Tiebreaker Procedure
If two or more individuals or teams finish
tied, the tie will be broken according to the
finish order of the tied riders or teams in the
most recent race:
1. In which all finished; if none, then
2. In which all started; if none, then
3. In which at least one started.
